Chitrakatha is a striking Mangalagiri saree brought to life with vibrant pen kalamkari-style narrative artwork. The deep brick-red sections feature graceful women, peacocks, lotus blooms, florals and an elephant, while the contrasting mustard-yellow panels showcase beautifully illustrated cows and traditional figures.

Accents of green, turquoise, coral and purple add richness to the storytelling composition. A contrasting black-and-silver woven border gives the colourful saree a strong, elegant finish.
